Davy Brown

Born in Kilmarnock and qualified at Glasgow School of Art, Davy has developed his own distinctive style of painting. Working almost exclusively in oils, the demand for his bold interpretations of landscapes, particularly of South West Scotland, have meant that he has been able to take early retirement from his role as Principal Teacher of Art at the High School in Newton Stewart to concentrate on his passion for painting.
