Born in 1973 in Perth, Dionne, as one of our younger artists, has already made a big impression with her use of vibrant layers of colour and pattern to convey the changing seasons inspired by the landscapes of Scotland, South West England and South Wales, where she now has her studio. A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone Art School in Dundee, the influence of a short period of experience as a textile designer for the fashion house Missoni can be detected in her style, which from time to time also includes still lifes.
