Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 1971, I have exhibited widely throughout the British Isles and in New York. I have work in private and corporate collections both at home and abroad including those of Highland Distillers and the Duke and Duchess of Richmond at Goodwood. I have exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy, the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and the Paisley Art Institute.

I work happily in watercolour, oil and and mixed media. My work often includes animals with a series of brush drawings or studies before these are developed into larger more decorative canvases or panels. Politics, religion and the human condition have always been included in my extensive range of subjects. If it moves me, I paint it! I have been commissioned to design for the commercial market and have supplied two thousand equestrian prints to a French distributor. In addition to my own self-published prints, my work has been published as limited editions by De Montfort Fine Art and as open editions by Ecosse Fine Art and The New York Graphic Society.
